Abstract
In this paper, a set of formulas is presented as the state-space algorithm implementation of the multivariable phase matching approximation problem initiated by Jonckheere and Helton. Both the balanced model reduction and the one-step-at-a-time Hankel reduction versions of the algorithm are provided.
