Abstract :
We propose doubly-coupled resonator optical waveguides (D-CROWs). D-CROWs are composed by introducing 1-D photonic crystals (PC) structure into the ring resonator based CROWs. We show D-CROWs achieve small group velocity compared with conventional 1-D PC-CROWs.
