Abstract :
This work presents a novel, simple and sensitive air-gap fiber Fabry-Perot (FP) interferometer (AG-PPFI) which is based on an Sn-overlaying process. Various air-gaps for the FP interferometric cavities are formed between the fiber endface and Sn metal.
