Abstract
In this paper, an efficient hybrid method for rigorous characterization of shielded microstrip circuits is presented. Our formulation uses the full-wave analysis, which does not involve quasi-static approximation. We make use of the Galerkin technique in the spectral domain for field computation. The proposed technique is demonstrated for practical examples and the results show good agreement with the available data
