Abstract :
This paper presents a new controller design for a switched reluctance motor drive system. The design, simulation, and implementation of a three phase, 10 HP, switched reluctance motor under field-oriented control is described. An optimal controller design based on field-oriented control is discussed. By using this control method, the performance of the switched reluctance motor drive system is improved. Experimental results validate theoretical analysis and computer simulation results
