Abstract :
Using reflexive list functions and the frameworks of games in normal form and the graph model for conflict resolution (GMCR), the author defines a new stability concept, called reflexive Nash stability, which refines Nash stability in a decision making situation where one or more decision makers equally prefer some possible states. A modified chicken game and the Garrison diversion unit (GDU) conflict, which is a realworld international conflict on a large water resources project in North Dakota, are analyzed, and how much the newly proposed stability concept refines Nash equilibria is demonstrated.
