Abstract :
Phase measurement is a kind of measurement for the basic electric parameter which is in the widespread applications. For the high frequency signal, through the frequency conversion by analog multiplier, in which a high frequency signal will be switched to a low band, an improving accuracy can be obtained by measuring the phase difference of the regulated signal. This paper discusses an improving one. It contains using the switch-multiplier techniques to realize the survey of the phase for the high frequency signal and demonstrates the measurement´s principle. In the meantime, this article also provides the overall framework of the circuit and shows how it works. This new method can be applied to measure the wide-band signal. The circuit is more simple with low cost and high accuracy.
