Abstract :
A new slew rate enhancement (SRE) circuit incorporated into a current-mirror amplifier, which does not affect the small-signal frequency response of the core amplifier, is presented. With the proposed enhancement circuit, simulation results show that more than 38 times improvements in both the slew rate and the settling time are achieved. Experimental results show that with 280 μW power consumption. 1.7 V/μs slew rate and 610 ns settling time at 470 pF loading capacitor, were obtained
