Abstract :
Line Recon Robot is a Tele-monitoring robot for transmission line system which is Tele-operated using a dedicated platform. This robot can be made to work fully automatically, semi-automatically or fully manual according to the convenience of the operator. Line Recon Robot is a remote hardware platform which senses the required parameters such as current, angle of inclination, temperature etc. of the transmission line and send these data to a computer on which a dedicated software processes these data and using advanced Graphical User Interface (GUI) with voice guidance technology, the operator can analyze these data and hence, can do necessary action on the Line Recon Robot using the software. In addition to it, the software can sense the time of the day to vary the voice guidance accordingly.
