Abstract :
In this paper, an intelligent energy management framework is proposed as a smart solution to manage power in microgrids. The proposed framework maintains an auction market, in which energy sellers and buyers shall practice trading. This framework integrates distributed storage as a part of demand side management. In addition, it enables customers with low priority loads participate in demand response. The proposed market platform is developed using Java Agent DEvelopment (JADE) framework and is applied to a case study with grid connected microgrid. The simulation results of the market study are also presented.
