Abstract
Computer-aided analysis and simulation of controlled rectifiers with thyristors is presented. Thyristors are modeled as SCRs with line commutation and phase control. Both single- and three-phase circuits are analyzed including rectifier and inverter operation and including effects of transformer leakage inductance. The simulation results are compared to theoretically predicted results with a very good agreement
