Abstract :
Most power transmission lines pass the mountain areas in the city of ChiZhou, in these particular districts, thunders and lightning happen frequently. The rate of line jumping caused by thunderbolt in 110 kV´s transmission line increases rapidly. In this paper, simulations in laboratory are done. Firstly, a lighting strikes trial model of 110 kV transmission line is built, then transmission line thunderbolt simulated trial course is analyzed including the flashover trial surveyed in the imitation field, the trial of side direction lightning rod effect verified, the influence of couple ground wire to the flashover verified, the experiment of the shaft tower counterattacking imitated and the trial of the insulation cooperated. The simulations give the scientific policy decision to the comprehensiveness lightning protection measure.
