Abstract :
In this paper we describe the mixed transmission of analog and digital information, using microwave sub-carriers, which are located at center frequencies of fiber optic dispersion-induced microwave transmission windows. These microwave transmission windows result from the association of a multi-longitudinal optical source and a dispersive optical channel. A radio-fiber scheme described here shows the simultaneous transmission of an analog satellite television down-link and an 8 Mbps NRZ PRBS data stream, using RF sub-carriers centered at two adjacent microwave windows.
