Abstract :
In this paper, exact closed-form expressions are derived for the generalized phase crossing rate as well as for the crossing statistics of random frequency modulation (FM) noise in Weibull fading channels. These expressions specialize to those of the Rayleigh case, which are known in the literature. In addition, the conditional probability density functions of the envelope and the random FM noise conditioned on an arbitrary phase upward crossing level are obtained.
