Abstract :
The harmonic levels in 220 kV Gong Ping power station are much higher above the standard because of the load of the electric railway traction substation. Voltage pollution was serious and the substation was long-running in the state of unqualified voltage, it is necessary to install filtering equipment. In this paper, measures of the harmonic suppression are put forward, which are reasonably choosing the design parameters of the capacitor-series reactance branch, so that both the reactive power compensation and the suppression of the harmonic can be satisfied. Through the calculation and analysis, the project is proved to be fit for suppressing the harmonics and satisfying the output of reactive power.
