Abstract
A novel design method of wideband antennas with stable beamwidth is presented. In this design, the stable radiation pattern is achieved through two parallel dipoles over a big reflector, and wideband impedance match is reached by loading stubs to dipoles to close the first two resonant modes of the dipoles. A simple antenna for LTE base-station is designed in this method, fabricated and measured. Measurement results have a good agreement to simulation ones.
