Abstract
This article provides an overview of the traditional balanced scorecard in organizational decision making. It is argued that traditional balanced scorecard fails to capture the dynamics of inter-related variables of the business processes and the organizational systems. System Dynamics simulation based, ldquothe Dynamic Balanced Scorecardrdquo, is introduced as a strategic decision making and performance measurement approach. To demonstrate the structure and utility of the Dynamic Balanced Scorecard approach, we have presented the case of the dynamic balanced scorecard of Changi General Hospital Singapore.
