Abstract
All sectors of industry have to save energy so that they are more competitive and can follow recommendations about the environment. For this reason, a study has been carried out on a model for audits. A practical tool is offered to companies and state entities, enabling them to work with greater accuracy and reliability when meeting requirements to monitor their energy consumption and optimise usage. The measurements proposed for the field work may be considered the minimum an auditory consultancy firm needs to produce a sound report as the basis of an Energy Saving Programme.
