Early diagnosis of tariff metering faults by a systematic analysis of main/check metering discrepancies

A method is described by which the integrity of MWh tariff metering systems in a power station can be monitored remotely by a systematic analysis of the discrepancies between the main and check meter readings. The method is cheap to implement, using only metering data that is already in existence; it is also highly effective in detecting tariff metering faults at an early stage of development.
