Abstract
Model-based parameter estimation (MBPE) of dielectric resonator antenna, input impedance and radiation pattern, is carried out. The MBPE and the genetic algorithm are used to construct a more accurate equivalent circuit of the input impedance of hemispherical dielectric resonator antenna (DRA). MBPE is used to accurately estimate the radiation pattern of the strip-fed rectangular DRA
