  • Abstract
    Proxy signcryption scheme is the combination of proxy signature and encryption. This paper presents a new publicly verifiable, proxy signcryption scheme where authentication, signature and confidentiality are achieved through an unsecured channel such as an open computer network and the Internet. The proposed scheme proved to overcome the weaknesses of the schemes known before. The proposed scheme is based on the work of Shin DSA verifiable singncryption, Gamage et al, Zhang Zhang, and Qingkuan Dong, proxy signcryption schemes. In these schemes the connection between sender and proxy needed a secure channel otherwise proxy is not protected from the originator. The new algorithm is more strong and robust, can give complete protection of proxy against the originator, and is DSA verifiable as indicated by the numerical examples in this paper
