Abstract :
Summary form only given. Our aim is to get thermalized radiation inside a millimeter void cavity by using an annular staged Z-pinch. Calculations have been done with a 1D MHD code. Results being optimized with a 15 MA/100 ns current law in a xenon gas puff (outer liner).
