Abstract :
Summary form only given. E/sub dc/, the static field of a device having vane-shaped anodes, has been determined by application of Hockney´s method, which in turn uses Buneman´s cyclic reduction. This result can be used for both cfa and magnetrons, but does not solve the general space-charge fields.
