Abstract :
A regulated charge pump circuit generating voltages of 6timesVDD and -6timesVDD is proposed for TFT-LCD gate drivers in portable equipments. The charge pump exploits multi-phase clocks and multiplex schemes to produce positive and negative voltages at the same pumping stage. One external flying capacitor and one pumping stage can be reduced. The proposed circuit has been implemented in a 5 V/32 V 0.5-mum CMOS technology. It delivers regulated 17.5 V and -14.5 V from a supply voltage of 2.8 V to 3.3 V
