Abstract :
In this paper, a method is developed to detect the physiological signals on lumbar vertebra based on infrared sequence images. Firstly, an infrared dynamic image acquisition system is constructed, and then infrared sequence images on the lumbar vertebra are acquired for 30s. Then, the time-lapse signal of mean gray value of region of interest (ROI) is obtained. Then, the power spectral density (PSD) is calculated by three methods: periodogram, Welch and AR model. From the spectrum graph, we can get some meaningful signals including heart rate, respiration rate and so on. It will be very useful for the clinical diagnoses and treatment of lumbar disc herniation.
