Abstract
Concurrency in parallel and/or distributed architectures sometimes has a crucial effect on control. The authors derive a simple description of weak interaction in a concurrent discrete event system, and prove the equivalence between concurrent well-posedness and weak interaction. As a result, they obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for designing the unique maximally permissive feedback without taking concurrency into account
