Abstract :
The following phenomenon is specific to a class of systems with input delays: In these systems stabilizing controls cannot have the same rate of decay as that of the stabilized trajectories. We explore the structure of such systems (termed trajectory stabilizable), closed and open loop stabilization schemes, and the relation of stabilizability to controllability properties.
