Abstract
In this paper, the characteristics of organic pollutants in the study area are analyzed on the basis of the analysis of three field water samples. Then based on the parameters obtained from laboratory test and domestic and foreign literature, trichloroethylene (TCE) and perchloroethylene (PCE) transported in the groundwater of the study area are simulated using Groundwater Modeling System (GMS). The result indicates that there is biodegradation process of TCE and PCE in the groundwater of this area, but the reaction rate is very slow. This also shows that the concentrations of TCE and PCE probably maintain at a relatively high level in the far future.
