Message from the Program Committee Chairs

The Tenth IEEE International Symposium on Parallel and Distributed Processing with Applications (ISPA 2012)was held in Leganes, Madrid, Spain, July 10-13, 2012. ISPA 2012 fosters state-of-the-art research in the area of parallel and distributed computing and networking, including reliability, fault tolerance, and security issues as well as algorithms and performance evaluation and measurement in parallel and distributed computing environments. ISPA 2012 also provides an opportunity for academic and industry professionals to discuss the latest issues and progress in the area of parallel and distributed computing and networking. For ISPA 2012, we received a total of 151 paper submissions from more than 50 countries. Out of these, after a rigorous peer review process, we accepted 54 articles for the ISPA 2012 proceedings, published by the IEEE. All submitted papers have undergone reviews by three or more reviewers from the technical program committee, which consists of leading researchers from around the globe. Without their hard work, achieving such a high-quality proceedings would not have been possible. We take this opportunity to thank them for their great support and cooperation.
