Abstract
A study on the torque ripple reduction of induction machines under field oriented control is presented. A spectral torque ripple model is proposed where harmonics of the actual field frequency are used to model the system´s real ripple producing effects. A ripple cancellation term is generated based on this model and a parameter identification scheme. Experimental results are included
