Aeolian vibration usually happened on transmission line, which is important reason of damage to transmission line. This thesis will discuss the harmfulness of Aaeolian vibration transmission lines as well as the meaning of on-line monitoring, introduce a on-line monitoring device design of Aeolian vibration based Zigbee communication technology, analysis of the application situation of Aeolian vibration on-line monitoring device on UHV Transmission Conductor cross span of the Yellow River, analysis and judge on-site monitoring data, which provide operation and maintenance of reference for UHV Transmission Conductor.
