  • Abstract
    The paper presents the conception, analysis and design of a soft switching series resonant converter for induction heating applications. After an analysis of the switching and losses process in the converter, an optimal control strategy is also explained, as well as the criteria for the design of a lossless turn-off snubber for the inverter
