Abstract
With the advance of agent technology and open standards in building automation systems, it is now feasible to build a multi-agent system for energy conservation in buildings. In this paper, we present a building equipment control system architecture based on multi-agent and the agents include the environment agent, the room agent, personal agent and the management agent. This multi-agent system automatically control subsystems of intelligent building to get into power saving mode when the management agent confirms there is nobody in this building by using of the information fusion. At the end of this paper, we give an example of power saving for the constant pressure water supply system.
