Abstract :
The data warehouse and related topics are currently a subjects of great interest in the development of information science. The slogan uniting these interests is the transformation of data into information. Data warehouse tools could be of great use in the development of a patient-oriented medical record, but great care will be needed for the transfer of those tools from the environment for which they were developed to the patient-care area
