Abstract :
Waste printed circuit boards(WPCB) is non-homogeneous and complex in terms of the materials and components. Despite many of the materials are highly toxic, it also contains a significant quantity of valuable resource. For instance, the contents of non-precious, precious and rare metals of WPCB are far more than their corresponding ores. Thus, it is of great significance to develop a cost-effective and environmentally friendly recycling route to dispose of WPCB. In this paper, several important beneficiation technologies of WPCB were reviewed, the negative problems during the recycling process were pointed out, and a comprehensive analysis of these methods was given. Finally, the prospects of the processing methods were addressed.
