  • Abstract
PBZT ceramics were prepared at controlled conditions to obtain high densification. Structural, dielectric and ferroelectric properties of (Pb1-xBax)(Zr0.65Ti0.35)O 3 ceramics were investigated for compositions varying in the range 0⩽x⩽0.40. The addition of Ba into the PZT 65/35 shifted the temperature of maximal dielectric constant toward lower temperatures and diffused the character of the phase transition. Dielectric constant and loss factor were increased by Ba addition. Coercive field and remanent polarization decreases as the Ba content increases
