Abstract
The results of this research were applied to existing designs of cathode blocks, electron guns and resonators. It allows synthesizing klystrons with parameters considerably exceeding existing ones. So, a klystron with efficiency of about 80% in a band more than 6% was synthesized on the basis of existing designs. The klystron with efficiency 65% in frequency band more than 25% and output power of about 5 MW was also synthesized on the basis of the existing design. These parameters are not limiting. The combination of higher efficiency and broader band is possible
