Conception of a pico-data base management system for a health smart card

Summary fom only given. We propose a conception of a pico data base management system based on a typical healthcare application. The pico DBMS must contribute to the data security by providing access right management and a view mechanism that allows complex view definitions. Next, we discuss the storage issues and propose a very compact model based on a combination of flat storage, domain storage and ring storage. We also evaluate the storage cost of our storage model. Finally, we introduce the realisation of the pico DBMS prototype for a smart card multiapplication.
