  • Abstract
The convoluted logical relation among various problems caused by emergency events make the process of police emergency response more complex. During emergencies, decision making is a challenge task requires immediate and effective action from responders under the pressure of incomplete and erroneous information. In order to response effectively in limited time, we designed and implemented the decision support system for police emergency response. We proposed the emergency event assessment support, emergency event prediction support, emergency resource assessment support, and emergency resource dispatch support for police emergency response based on analyzing the architecture of police emergency response decision models firstly. Then we discuss the implementation of the system prototype by a simulation case. The usefulness of prototype and potential decision making system for police emergency response are validated based on the simulation case.
