Abstract :
In this paper, a recently developed graphical signatures generation tool is used for system faults detection of induction motors (IM). The underlying diagnosis problem corresponds to variations affecting four of system´s parameters, namely, the resistances and inductances for both stator and rotor. It is shown that this diagnosis method enables early detection of all considered faults using one graphical signature generated from the measurements of the stator current. The proposed detection procedure can be easily applied in a real time diagnosis context.
