    The main fields of FDTD method application are discussed, as follows: Antenna simulation and design, calculation of near-zone and far zone fields; scattering of electromagnetic waves and calculating RCS pattern; microwave circuit simulation; optoelectronic devices and optical fiber simulation; microwave power electron devices and accelerator analysis; plasma analysis; solving of biomedical problems and calculation of SAR patterns; and identification of hidden objects in water and soil
