Abstract
A method is presented for blind system identification in an impulsive environment, where the system output is described by a symmetric α-stable (SαS) law. The method employs either the phase or the magnitude of the recently proposed α-spectrum of the system output. It is much simpler than the method proposed previously which also relies on the phase or magnitude of the α-spectrum, and provides the system cepstrum via closed form expressions
