Analysis on the capacity of wireless ad hoc networks

We deal with ad hoc networks that consist of a group of nodes having the same capabilities and responsibilities and communicating to each other directly or by routing their data through other nodes, without any centralized control or base station. This paper summaries different bounds on the capacity of various types of wireless ad hoc networks and can serve as a reference for the understanding the capabilities of ad hoc networks and the problems in their operation.
