Abstract
One of the main problems while designing industrial installations for microwave processing of products is providing uniform heating of an object, which is determined by electromagnetic field distribution in a heating unit chamber. With a resonator of large size, also in order to increase field distribution uniformity in the volume of a working chamber, several power inputs positioned at a distance from each other are often used. The same method makes it possible to increase the rate of product heating and to enlarge the volume of a heated product. This work concerns development of programs for calculation and research of electromagnetic fields in multi-mode prismatic chambers designed for microwave heating
