Abstract :
This paper presents an overview of the distribution regulatory framework in Brazil, describes and analyzes its development over time and the methodologies applied by the regulator to determine the regulated revenue. Finally, a diagnosis is presented of the results obtained during the first periodic tariff review (PTR) and the trends expected for the second review period.
