Abstract :
This paper discusses on an identification method of motor systems which have low resolution encoders. Since measurement data obtained from low resolution sensors have quantization errors, it is important for identification of a precise model to take the quantization error into account. A proposed method to overcome the problem is based on a numerical optimization. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by simulations and experiments, and the results are shown with some discussions.
