Abstract :
This paper combines the features of the space vector approach and random switching scheme. For that, it utilizes the concept of distribution ratio that allows for a simple implementation of the technique and also a new technique for voltage balancing of the link capacitors. Also deals with an `indirect´ type of current control, of which the robustness was compromised by either the randomization or switching frequency. Besides that, a reduction of switching losses is obtained by taking into account the load power angle. Based on the dynamic model of the induction motor in an arbitrary reference frame, the current control law is formulated and implemented in a closed-loop system. Experimental results confirm the feasibility of the proposed scheme
