Abstract
Digital pre-distortion and equalization approaches for OFDM-based access systems are presented. These techniques accommodate for linear and nonlinear channel response such as frequency-dependent loss and chirp-GVD interactions. The performance of these techniques have been investigated with means of numerical simulations and successfully employed in an experimental system with over 30Gb/s net bit-rate.
