Abstract :
Since marine radars have a lot of sea and rain clutters, it is difficult to discriminate the target from them. The improvement factor and the spectrum spread are applied using the parameters of moving speed of radar antenna, speed, angle, etc. in order to detect targets at sea. Target detection is set by applying the proposed Data Matrix Bank-CFAR (DMB-CFAR). In this paper, we design a signal processing algorithm for marine radars, analyze the performance of DMB-CFAR algorithm and the signal ambiguity function of marine radar, and perform DMB-CFAR algorithm design. We also perform DMB-CFAR algorithm analysis, DMB-CFAR simulation, and then apply these both to the DMB-CFAR and Cell-Average CFAR(CA-CFAR) design specifications to show the compared results.
