Abstract :
Two wideband feeding approaches are employed in the design of a dual polarized patch antenna. The antenna is fed by two pairs of twin-L probes for +45° polarization and a wide meandering probe for -45° polarization. Over 50% bandwidth for SWR<;2 was achieved for both ports. It operates at UMTS band from 1.71GHz to 2.69GHz, which supports a wide range of wireless technology, such as DCS, PCS, 3G, 4G LTE.
